This is what the paltry was served to his grandmother for her Sunday dinner at a £600-a-week care home

Robert Cinnamond claimed the paltry offering was served to his grandmother – who is not named – for her Sunday evening meal.

A meagre meal offered to an elderly resident at a £600-a-week care home has sparked fury after her grandson posted an image of the food on line.

A full investigation was under way after the shocking photo of two slices of corned beef, a ramekin dish of baked beans and can of Diet Coke with a straw appeared.

He told his followers that Cregagh Nursing Home in Belfast, where he claimed the meal was served to the pensioner, should be “ashamed”.
His Facebook post was shared almost 60,000 times after he stated: “People need to see this” on Sunday.
