Philippe Coutinho would have already chosen his number of shirt of Barcelona while his nine-figure transfer of Liverpool gets closer.
Reds resisted three offers for the Brazilian during the summer – including an offer of £119 million – but they finally gave in and will allow him to leave for the Camp Nou this month.
Both parts should meet this week to get on on financial conditions, Liverpool demanding at least 133 million pounds sterling for the 25-year-old player, of whom an amount mattering in cash from the beginning.
It would seem that Coutinho understood that he has already played his last match for Jurgen Klopp’s team, and according to Diario Gol, he now aligned his team with his new side.
The newspaper asserts that Coutinho will wear the shirt number seven, which is at present occupied by Arda Turan but should be released this month when the Turkish aggressor will have found a new club.
Coutinho scored 12 goals and created eight more during his 20 appearances for Reds this season.
